A white table, Adorned
By red roses.
And two wine glasses,
By a chamber stick.
The scent of roses,
Choked the air around,
As it’s petals veiled thorns,
Who hushed a familiar pain.
As the melancholy of love,
Reverberated behind closed doors,
The table cloth turned red
Drenched in a lady’s blood.
Amorous Afflictions
Oh wow..this is so insightful
